BIG MONEY IS NOT A LICENSE TO BREAK THE LAW

We are citizens of the planet who believe that humanity has matured enough to abandon barbarism and build a just, humane, and sustainable civilization.
Our program unites key principles and demands, expressed through the movement’s core slogans and manifestos.

   5 Key principles and demands:

1.    Equality Before the Law.

Big money is no license to  break the law.

2.   Common Responsibility for  the  Earth’s Resources.            The Earth’s resources belong to all its inhabitants.

3.   Rejection of Wars, Terror,       and Propaganda of Violence.

Humanity has outgrown war. It is time to become a truly humane civilization.

4.   The Elite’s Responsibility for Global  Poverty.

Poverty, hunger, and thirst weigh on your conscience too.

5.   True Civility of the Rich and Powerful.

You can be smart and rich — but you must remain civilized and give back to society and  the planet.

Program of the Civic Movement

“Civilized Humanity” / 99vs1.org

We are citizens of this planet who believe that humanity has grown mature enough to abandon barbarism and build a just, humane, and sustainable civilization.
Our program brings together the core principles and demands of the movement, expressed through its key slogans and manifestos.

1. Equality Before the Law

Big money is no license to break the law.

Wealth must never grant immunity. The law must be the same for everyone — regardless of fortune, power, or connections.
We demand full equality before justice, transparency of power, and the independence of public institutions from the influence of money.

2. Shared Ownership of Earth’s Resources

The Earth’s resources belong to all its inhabitants.

The planet and its riches are not the private property of corporations and billionaires.
Air, water, minerals, forests, and soil belong to all people — present and future generations alike.

We demand:

transparent and sustainable use of natural resources,

fair distribution of revenues from their extraction,

protection of nature from predatory exploitation.

3. Rejection of War, Terror, and the Glorification of Violence

Humanity has outgrown war. It is time to become a truly humane civilization.

Humanity has long outgrown the stage where war and violence could be considered normal.
Wars, terror, and the constant glorification of killing in media are not only tragedies — they are also a profitable business for a narrow elite (the 1%) that enriches itself through weapons, destruction, and fear.

We demand:

an end to the glorification of violence in media, games, and culture,

a radical reduction of the global arms trade,

redirection of military budgets toward solving global problems,

peaceful resolution of all conflicts.

4. Accountability of the Elite for Global Poverty

Poverty, hunger, and thirst weigh on your conscience too.

Poverty, hunger, and the lack of clean water for billions of people are not accidents or “market complexities.”
They are the direct result of a system in which a tiny group (the 1%) concentrates wealth by extracting resources from poor countries, fueling wars, and blocking fair redistribution.

We demand:

progressive global taxation of extreme wealth,

cancellation of unjust debts of developing countries,

massive investment in ending hunger, providing clean water, and eliminating extreme poverty.

5. True Civilization of the Wealthy and Powerful

You can be smart and rich — but you must remain civilized and give back to society and the planet.

We are not against talent, success, or wealth.
We are against irresponsibility.

True civilization is measured not by how much you take, but by how much you give back.
Wealth and intelligence are created by society — by teachers, workers, social stability, and nature itself. Therefore, they impose responsibility.

We demand that the wealthy and powerful:

dedicate a significant share of their wealth to solving global problems,

use their influence to promote peace, justice, and environmental protection,

set an example of responsible and ethical leadership.

Together we can make a difference
